Mr Ndura has vast experience in the field of audit, finance and accountancy having worked for twelve years for Deloitte & Touche, one of the leading professional services firms in the world. As an audit manager handling over eighty clients in different sectors of the economy, he gained practical experience in all aspects of clients companies. As a manager holding senior leadership positions, he has been exposed to people management issues, including performance management and staff development. He possesses strong organisation skills borne from working with limited resources and within strict deadlines, strong interpersonal skills, staff organization and team building skills. For eight and a half years Mr Ndura was the Group Chief Internal Auditor at the Apollo Group which includes APA Insurance Kenya, APA Insurance Uganda, APA Life Assurance, Apollo Asset Managers, Gordon Court and the holding company, Apollo Investments Limited. He was responsible for setting up the group’s Audit and Risk Management departments. Mr Ndura Holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) University of Nairobi, Bachelor of Commerce –Accounting Option (Upper 2nd Honors) from University of Nairobi, CII Advanced Diploma from London Chartered Institute of Insurance and is pursuing a PHD in Finance at the Nairobi University. He is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA) - No 12428 and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
